Grasmere Farm’s Hampshire-cross Pigs are at the heart of our business. We breed and raise the Pigs on the farm in south Lincolnshire, using traditional farming methods which creates flavoursome and tender Pork. Our master butchers, sheet the ribs from the top of the rib cage and from the loin, creating an impressive cut. Sheet Ribs are great for cooking in all sorts of ways; in the summer they are great on the BBQ but equally they are fantastic under the grill and come into their own if cooked low and slow! Our ever popular BBQ marinade is fantastic with pork on the bone. It’s definitely worth the mess of eating with your fingers!
How to cook Pork Sheet Ribs
Cook the Sheet Ribs from room temperature. Cook in centre off pre-heated oven for about 30 minutes on 170°C, Gas Mark 3. Finish on BBQ to get the char-grilled flavour. Alternatively cook for another 5-10 minutes in oven. Allow to rest before serving.
