Our Farmhouse Kitchen was where it all begin. Peter (or ‘Pewee’ as we know him) used to come to Grasmere Farm after work in the week and do butchery in the kitchen. Obviously, over time our kitchen has grown and grown and has been specially converted to meet the highest of standards. We are very lucky to have some talented bakers and chefs, who make amazing products every day.
We use real ale from Grainstore brewery in Oakham which gives our Steak and Ale Pie a unique flavour. Our master butchers use the finest cuts of beef from the forequarter to dice for the pies. Using cuts such as chuck, which are known for their tenderness, especially when slow cooked. We absolutely love this pie and it has won us many awards, including Great Taste.
How to reheat our Individual Meat Pies
Can be eaten cold but for the best results eat hot. Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place on a preheated baking tray and cook for 20 minutes on 180°c, gas mark 4. For fan assisted oven adjust accordingly.
