A very popular cheddar, with a complex, broad depth of flavour which will delight any cheeseboard. Pairs well with cider (of course- it is from Somerset!), cider brandy or real ale as well as apples and pickled walnuts.

The Barber family have been farming in the hear of the west country, in Somerset since the early 1800’s. Their knowledge and expertise in cheddar-making has grown over six generations and they still use traditional cheesemaking methods to this day. In fact Barber’s cheddar has PDO status and is one of the few certified ‘West Country Farmhouse Cheddars’.

Each piece is wrapped and then put in a bag. Keep refrigerated but best served at room temperature.
