Our native breed beef is carefully hand selected at Market for us by our buyer who we work closely with. We look for size and for a good covering of fat for flavour. Our prime cuts are matured on the bone for at least three weeks; the result is a meat that will melt in your mouth with a kind of flavour you just don’t get from wet aged beef. Each cut is prepared by our specialist butchers, ensuring care and quality in every cut.
Our newly improved Beef Burgers are well seasoned with salt and pepper to give a flavoured ‘plain’ Burger. Perfect on the BBQ or on the grill, they are meaty and succulent. And don’t forget, it’s all about what you put with it- try chilli jam and peanut butter, or with a fried egg and our Dry-cured Smoked Streaky Bacon.
How to cook Beef Burgers
Cook from room temperature.To Grill: Preheat the grill to medium. Place on the rack and grill for 10-13 minutes, turning regularly. To Shallow Fry: Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Fry on a medium heat for 6-10 minutes, turning regularly. To Oven Bake: Preheat oven to 190°c, 375°f gas mark 5. Place on a roasting tray for 20-25 minutes turn half way through cooking. For fan assisted oven adjust accordingly. To BBQ: Place on the hot BBQ for 10-15 minutes, turning regularly.
